CW sash buckle

I did a little md'ing before I went panning, and found this. I thought it was a button, but with a reference site, americianrelichunters, it was i'd as a sash buckle. you can see where it broke off the clasp.

I found it on the lower yuba river, above parks bar. East of marysville, ca.

Great find even if its not all there. I would take it anyday!!! Half a buckle is better than no buckle!!!
