Brinks boxes (halves) have been slow, so far this week
1) 1968D x1 and NIFCx2
2) NIFC x1, no silver

Picked up 7 rolls of CWR Halves
1964 x1
1966 x22
1967 x1

3.76 oz of silver!! for $12!

If it weren't for people turning in their silver halves for face, where would we be??

I think you need a new coin supplier. I hate Brinks with the passion!

Great scoop on the CWR!

great score on the CWR

Its funny out West i've generally had more luck with Brinks vs. String boxes.

But I've had mega skunk streaks and great producing streaks with both as well. Have wanted to try another supplier like Dunbar, but haven't found a bank that uses them yet in LA, seems like they do more retail pickups.

Wow... I've never found anything in CWR or directly from tellers.

great finds.

I still find the majority of my silver halves in cwr's and loose halves also.

And "If it weren't for people turning in their silver halves for face" this would certainly be a lot less profitable and less exciting hobby.

My supply bank uses Brinks. Over the summer I was getting many skunk boxes but things are starting to pick up now. Most times when I ask at a bank for any half dollars rolled or loose, they don't have any. If they do, generally I may get 1 40% or a rare 90%. As it was said before, consistency & persistency is what you need to do. The silver will come. Congrats on the silver you did get this time.

I'll say it again...."It's out there."
Congrats on your nice find.
