Dad....I got the moon for you!

It wasn't exactly easy! Dang thing eluded me all night, but this morning she was shinning bright . The other night Dad said he just missed the moon with the clouds floating over it, this morning they floated over as I was shooting, they weren't there at first.

Honestly...they could have come out better. You see I've been sick, it's been cold, I was in my pajamas, so I took them from inside through the window at an angle. Not bad.

Then through the same window, something catches my eye. This little red guy was literally flying from tree to tree. It took several trees before I caught him, and I wasn't positive I had. Got him! I did try cropping it for a closer view, but it just wasn't the same.

Yes Dad I did miss one month this year , .

I thought of you when I saw the full moon rising the other night, knowing you have been shooting darn near every month, but somehow I think I will be a warm weather full moon shooter only. By the time I try again, I will have to relearn what I did previous attempts. Hope you are feeling better today..

I actually thought of my two Dad's while I was shooting the pictures .

Please don't think I'm critical but your camera's auto focus set itself on the tree branches and not the moon. Still, they are great ics!

BTW...everybody be nice to Country Girl, she has figured out a way to cyber-send the crud. In my case she did it all the way from Mass. to Tennessee

Part of the beauty of the shot my friend, can't have 12 identical shots of the moon now can we .
