at our "battlefield," after finding several silver coins in this field, Dad did some newspaper research to find out it was used as a fairground from 1880 till the late twenties...how perfect is that, a relic field, and a coin field in one...pics later (i'm at work).

I saw that article in my rual Electric Co-op paper. By the way nice job on the research and finds! Did you think you and your Dad might be able to come check out our 417 Relic hunter club? Tsgman
