Dakota rattlestones

I have an old pumice mine where I found some stones which rattle when shook. Anyone else ever found anything like that?

Neat! Have you ever broken one open? If they are hollow, they may be what they call volcanic bombs.

There is a void, but not a round void. Its more like the outside crusted over and then the inside dried out. Whats inside is a set of widening cracks coming to a small stone in the middle. Found in South Central Nebraska.
