This Mid-section is a rare find.................
Shown by its self...................many people would not know what it was.
Some people could look at that and say................
UNHEARD of for a Dalton site................I'am pretty sure there is a huge Dalton site there,those 3 artifacts have the same thickness
You just dont see many Mid-section Scrapers............that one might be a bit more there then say a normal Mid-section.................but I have at least 2 more of those.
And I would say the Dalton Culture did re-use the point and not a later Culture,or the would have used it in a way................that would be hard to tell what it was...........
And that leads to my only Fluted point,being reworked into a Scraper by a later Culture............which I will show later some day............
When I walk out of the Quarry site....................I can still find whole and broken Dalton,up to half a mile away,thru erosion............
