........to getting my first (full box of halves) skunking.

Box # 30 for the year didn't produce it's first keeper until roll #44, it was an '87P, and turned out to be the only keeper in the box.

No silver, but not complaints either. Enough of you have posted about consecutive skunks, that I'm very (very) happy to keep my "skunkless" streak (for full boxes of halves) in tact; if only by the hair on my chinny, chin, chin. 8)

I got three boxes last week.
box #1 = 8 - 40%
#2 = 3 - 40%
#3 = 1 - 40%

does that mean that this week I will get skunked?

Again, dangerously close.

Halves box #31 for the year didn't give up it's first keeper until roll #31 (coincidence ? ) and it was a 64P. Otherwise the only other keeper was a 69D; found in roll #45.

I've been cutting it close with these last three boxes, only six keepers among them, but the streak continues.

Only got four keepers from box #32 for the year, but they were a Franklin (54S), two 40%ers (67 & 68D) and a Walker I was still missing (45P).

Getting that missing half made it all worth it.

We frequently post on here about the pounds of silver we take in, and don't take me wrong it has its place and I've surely done well in just two months of CRHing, but I am still the series collector I started out almost forty years ago.

I've found so many missing coins (primarily halves) in the last two months; it is astonishing. Aside from the proofs I'm only missing the 70D for Kennedy's, only about eight Franklins are left to be found and I've made a sizable dent in my Walkers. Still looking for my first Barber, but this forum has demonstrated that it is possible.

Box # 33 (of halves) for the year only yielded two keepers: a 64P & 69D.

The yields have been pretty slim the last three or four full boxes...............but the streak is still intact.

What is going on with the boxes? Why aren't they yielding more than a few per box? Any ideas?
