this one struck my fancy and was wondering if someone could tell me the approximate date and value

I'd say 1890-1900ish, value is a $1-2, they were produced in huge numbers. Value would be higher with original labels..

This one looks machine made, probably around 1920-1935. Extremely common, little or no appeal to a serious collector. But a beginner might give you a dollar or two for it, like Jim said.

EDIT: There are probably hundreds of Gordon's Dry Gin variants, and that being said, I've still only dug screw tops. I guess if I ever dug a nice aqua cork top Gordon's, even if it was machine made I'd probably keep it! Just for the nostalgia, even though it might not be valuable to most people.
