David Rumsey Google Earth overlay

Anyone downloaded GoogleEarth since they added the David Rumsey overlay? Does the overlay cost money? Does GoogleEarth slow down your computer? I use the satalite feature on google which is essentially the same as GoogleEarth and am constantly comparing to David Rumsey but if I could overlay...
