I just got in from day two at the new site. This place has seen occupation from the late 1700's until it burned in in 1990. It saw Civil War occupation. I have barely scratched the surface of this property which covers 140 acres. Anyhow, here are my uncleaned items for today. I will try to get things cleaned up and identified tomorrow.

This one may take a while, but I will post it when I am finished cleaning and preserving it.

It has taken 13 days in the hot pot so far to get the crud off of this revolver, but underneath of it all, it is remarkably good condition. Today will be the last day in the pot, and I will finish it up this evening. After the preservation formula dries, I will post a photo or two of the end result.
