DAY 9 - Crusaderdad - 1.5 hour hunt

Crusaderdad 1.5 hours almost skunked. It was a crappy signal he kicked around & ignored & picked it up on the run back. Saying to himself "I'll get rid of it". ie rubbish

The lead-alloy late Medieval Button is a new type that I have never seen & maybe pilgrim related but its a poor finish to a good field. Not sure if I will try this field tomorrow (I have a choice as the crop is not showing just yet) or have a break.

Some funny comments to your post Crusader, LOL! I just do not post my skunked days and there are several of them especially in the so called oldest area of Germany where I work. Not much interest in a post that says I went out today for two hours and didn't find anything but trash. That bootun looks like lead by the way, I have a few as well. HH, Mike

Heh Mike, went out with Bernd yesterday, I got 7 coins (Couple old Reichspfennig´s, a 1 and a 50), and a really old one again (Big shield on one side (Coat of arms), and on the other side 4 shields (Coats of arms) in a T form, witha crown on top, thus forming a Cross , plus another of those PRESTO badges (?), and Bernd got Zilch (Well, he got a lot of alu).

Got loads of Lead medieval buttons. This one is too crumbly to be just lead.
