I got down to the beach yesterday ,After a while my silver saber
started beeping when it touched the sand,
then it stopped altogether. So I went home and washed off the sand and I saw
that the coil had split. >:(
I don't know if I can get a replacment, I really like the saber because
it's light and I take it on holiday to Spain. coins 006.webp

Up date.
As the coil seemed useless I took it apart, but there was no
visable damage,so I just left it. I planned to buy another in the new year.
A couple of days ago I tried the detector one more time just to see what
would happen and waddayaknow it worked, so I've glued it with araldite
and it's as good as ever.

Hey dave if its a Tesoro sabre they are gauranteed for life.I just sent my tesoro in for repair after owning it for 9 years.I pay to ship it there, they fix it and pay for its return.
