concern, sympathy , and empathy during these very difficult past weeks.
You helped get me through this trying time more than you will ever know..
I am doing better......I even tried to get to the beach for some detecting yesterday, but things unexpectedly went awry with the GT.
Here's what happened:
I got all rigged up with machine, headphones and scoop, crossed the street over to the wide expanse of sand near some volley ball nets; turn the GT on , and Oh, Boy! There was the most loudest, wailing , siren sound emanating from the headphones.
Back to the car....changed the battery....same thing
Back to the car....changed the headphones....same thing
Back to the car....got the Elite out.....no battery in it
Had to accept it; there would be no detecting.
Got home and started checking connections, and found what I think is the problem ( I know, I know.....should have done this before leaving home
Obviously the connection had been applied too tightly
It's off to my brother in Florida for repair
Here's a pic of the "culprit" ( next time I hope to have pics of some gold finds)
p.s. I need to catch up on all the treasure finds, etc...love this forum!
Thank you again for your emotional support.
