Hi all,
I went back to my lucky alfalfa field last Saturday and gridded more but found no keepers. I did eyeball my first (broken) arrowhead, so was very happy about that. Sunday I went to my friend's centennial farm house to hunt. Found no old coins (yet) but dug an old dog tag, 1927, which beats my oldest by 30 years. :icon_thumleft: I'll go back for more gridding.

HH and thanks for looking,
Michiganne
p.s. To still be digging in Dec. here in MI is a joy! :hello2:

Good Job squeezing the last hunts out of the season. Congrats on your first stone artifact they will get easier to see now, as it does take some "eye training" to be able to spot them, you know rock on rock is about as good a camo. there is
Hope to be out looking for a couple of cellar holes tomorrow, just above freezing.

I like that dog tag also. A very nice relic.

Man, I hope you're right, Rick. I've been looking for arrowheads ever since I was a wee lass and my Grandpa told us kids how he used to find them. I'm always looking while MDing.

Good luck on the last season hunts!

That's a really nice dog tag. Never found one myself
