December Batch:1855 Seated Bunch Of IH's. Silver Coins Gold Locket + More

Hey everyone,

Finishing up the yr here. Ground is still not frozen here yet so I am still hunting a little here and there. Ended the yr with 143 silvers. Tried hard to get to 150. Maybe next yr. Got my oldest silver of the yr at my old ghost town site. 1855 Seated dime. Was nice to get. Only get about 1 or 2 seated coins per yr.

Nothing really special. Got a really nice engraved gold locket. Probably late 1800's early 1900's. It opens up and is still functional. Got a gold pocket watch case also. Other than that it's been a good yr. Starting off 2012 pretty good to. Got out this week before the snow and pulled some silver and indians.

Hope everyone else had a good yr. Hopefully these next two months will fly by. I know it's hard to wait for the thaw. Thanks for looking.

amazing display of finds, what do you do to get everything (relics) so clean? almost looks like they were tumbled

Great pics and great year! I hit 149 silver for the year lol. And both of my hunting buddy's broke 160! I hunted super hard for the last two days of the year and just couldn't find number 150! oh well Keep hunting hard!

Thanks alot guys. Yes the relics were tumbled. Even some of the coins were to. Most of my coppers get really bad here.

If they are not a key date or come out of good soil they get tumbled.

Makes bad coins look better. I spend alot of time cleaning up finds.
Don't know if I like finding the items more or cleaning them lol.

Tumbling did really well on those relics. Cruddy coppers are bad no matter what you do. Great month for sure!!
