I got permission, in a neighboring town, to hunt a home that was built in 1900. The owners were super nice. I hunted for several hours this afternoon and found a total of four silver dimes (3 Merc's and 1 Rosie). The earliest Merc was 1918 (no mint mark). I also found 12 Wheaties (oldest was a 1917 and I also found a 1919-S). I found a neat (rough) advertising thimble (aluminum not sterling) that reads, "Use Orient Flour". I'm going back there for sure because I know there is more to be had. They told me to come anytime I wanted, even if they weren't home. Another nice thing, is the next door neighbor came over and talked to me and give me permission to hunt her home next. She said it was over 100 years old.

I love this hobby! Coins4.webp

Nice batch of coins. Wtg on the new permissions!

Nice hunt, congrats on the silvers & Wheaties saves, GL&HH

Nice... four silvers in one hunt definitely give you some bragging rights. Best of luck when you make it back and visit the nice lady next door. SD
