Got a new permission last week at an old building down the road from me. He says it was a shirt manufacturer in the 1930's so i was happy to get his permission to dig it. I've been there three days cleaning out the nails, pull tabs and some clad, along with other junk but today i finally got some things i like. Spent an hour and a half and these are the highlights. Can anyone tell me what the big iron thingie is and also what the circular, roman numeral item may be? Thanks for looking. That's a 1910 wheatie and 1903 IH incase you can't see the dates. Also there is an old compact, i believe a ww2 bullet casing and no idea what the thing on the bottom is but looks old. I'm sure we all know what the item next to the unicorn is...:laughing7:

My first guess would be a watch face. Nice finds!

Boy that area has a lot of potential. WTG. Keep us posted!

Piece on the bottom looks like an old lipstick top.

Thank you for sharing your hunt and those pictures with us

No ideas on the hunk of iron in the middle? That's the second one of those i have found, the other was found at my 1700's, Vermont location. It looks like some sort of tool but i can't for the life of me, figure out just what it would've been used for. The pipe on the top of the pic was easy to figure out it's use..lol.

nice digs!..an indian complete with peace pipe..

Piston head arm for a small engine? And I've never found one but the Roman numeral thing could be a depression era tax token

The thing on the bottom looks like a lipstick case to me too.
