We were on our way to visit family in Butte, MT and took a notion to stop at the old Montana Territorial Prison at Deer Lodge, MT... We only had about a half hour, so quickly rushed through snapping some pictures... I would love to go back when we have more time and tour the car museum again and the inside of the old prison.

I deer hunted on the Montana State Prison ranch at Deer Lodge for many years. There is a process to gain permission but it’s not difficult. It’s like having your own private hunting ranch full of thousands of deer!
