I have read all the post I can find on the Deleon and have two questions. How do they work on Canadian coins ? and wet salt water sand ? Thanks Tim

I have found Canadian coins with my Deleon and they seem to register the same way as any other coin. I am no where near a beach so as far as that I have no idea. It is a great machine though. I would not trade it for any other machine that is for sure.

As miles25 said, no problem on Canadian coins. I was hunting on salt beaches up at Cape Cod a couple on months ago and the Deleon worked perfectly in the dry salt sand. Some false-ing when I got to where the salt water was less than 12" deep. If you are buying a detector specifically for wet salt sand consider the Tesoro Tiger Shark, it is designed for that purpose.
