when you come to a signal line,follow it, the rod crosses, then step back a bit, the rods open up again....am i near the target, and how deep is it....can you tell with the rods :icon_scratch:

I believe youre on the right track,,,, the effect of the rods to the target is definately electrical,, and as a matter of course . the stream of electrons along the fields edge is curved , so as you near the target, the locater must appear to twist to the left or right as you near the target,,,,, am I not correct? Furthermore, the emanated field of the locator(person) is reacting, with the target ,to produce a secondary field which is being felt by the locator(rods) and subsequently the rlr is only being true to itself, as my ellrods are to me,,,,, nice work sir

Hey rubberdiver 13……When you back up and the rods open…Inch your way backward a bit more. See if both rods will swing and point in the same direction…Art
