This has got to be one of the best candybars I have ever eaten. The edibles in Colorado are crazy good!100mg of THC!.

So much for family friendly topics...

Nothing wrong with your family, what I believe DR was saying is, this sites family, and its children don't really need to be exposed to this topic. Not that there is anything terrible about the green plant, just this is not a good medium for it.
I would guess it falls in the God/politics type topics.

Ditto what Dieselram said.

i have to agree, this site is not the place to promote drugs, please hold yourself to higher standards.

Actually, if getting doped up is legal where you are I would guess that telling folks how much you enjoy it wouldn't be much different than talking about enjoying a nice, cold beer for those of us old enough to drink. I HATE LIKE HELL talking like a liberal but that's just how I see it. If your kid is intelligent enough they'll see how those that partake in its use on a continual basis are consumed by it and end up controlled by it. Not much different than an alcoholic. I drink beer but haven't gotten a Bud Light tattoo yet but I have seen pot plant tats on some real winners. The kids can figure it out.

Moved to health watch.

It's gluten free tho

I get that it's a touchy subject, and I think moving it was a good idea. We can't reasonably treat it any different than we would codeine, viagra or whiskey if it's coming from a legal state though.

I also think shielding a child's eyes from something only works until they're beyond your reach and don't have you around to teach them right from wrong, but that's a whole other can of worms. :)

I'll probably regret this, but I like voicing my opinions. The last time I checked, religion is legal everywhere, but yet it IS treated differently. I get it, it offends some folks, so its not allowed, as drugs offends some people, yet it is OK to talk about it..why is there a double standard ? one is pure, one is illegal at the federal level, yet the illegal topic is allowed.

just wanted to say that, no need for any reply, it is all I'll ever say about it again, it is the rules and I accept that.

CocoNUT.

Religious discussion is unwelcome here only because of it's tendency to cause MAJOR conflicts. It's a hot button. Rest assured that if Marijuana discussion got to the same point, the same thing would happen.

Just to add, If a few members think they can make it a hot topic they will get it banned, think again.....

i am one who thinks there will be benefits from its legalization, but i do not want to see it packaged to target youth.a candy bar did not stand a chance round me when i was very young.any one applied for a patent on a child proof candy bar wrapper yet?

How about a patent that would turn parents into responsible adults!?

I see the pattern in the marketing, with an aging consumer base how do we attract new younger consumers..candy. kids love sweet tasting things, first came mini cigars flavored grape and other fruity flavors, now e-cigs also offered up in many wonderful sweet yummy flavors..just like the days of Joe camel with his coolness factors, it is a marketing strategy, anybody that can think clearly can deduce that for theirselves.
So the green goes legal..fine pot heads never hurt anybody, I've never seen any bad effects from it so it makes sense to make it into yummy candy, some may argue the point of eating THC laden products works better than smoking it, that is true especially for pain related and nausea related conditions or calming of effects for things like chemo, which I've seen first hand how it will help a chemo patient be able to eat food. but on the other hand you can put concentrated oil into any product, put it in something no self respecting kid would be caught dead eating, I don't know meat loaf ? heh

these are just my own thoughts on it, my opinion.
I'm not for or against the green, just some responsibility should be taken in marketing and where it is directed.

They will never be marketed for kids, but adults do eat candy bars, brownies, cookies and so on... It is adults and parents job to raise their children and part of that job is teaching them responsibility and respect for their parents.....

Alcohol comes in many flavors that kids like and adults also enjoy, if I want to drink flavored wine coolers as adult it is my right and their availability should not be denied because some kids like the same flavoring......
