I'm headed to Destin in late July and wanted to reach out to my fellow treasure seekers on any feedback on Destin. Good/Bad, best areas to hunt? I will be staying at Miramar Beach and eager to get back out to beach to find my first gold ring. Last time I was at the beach in Key West I found 2 silver rings. Need to pop my cherry and get my first real gold. I will be there for 7 days and I plan to hunt as much as I can. Just picked up a used blue Excal and plan to use that as well as my regular Excal 1000. Got my sunblock and scoop and ready to tear it up.

have gone the last 2 years to 30a and gulf shores get a big scoop or youll miss and then a big wave will come and knock you about 10 ft away from your target
