Detech 8x6 S.E.F on V3i

Ok everyone I picked up a couple new pieces of hardware for my metal detectors. Dont know if they will be any good but I bought them anyhow. Does any 1 know if the detech 8x6 sef whites dfx coil will work on my whites v3i? I originally bought it to use on my trusty whites DFX. Any help or feedback appreciated. I also bought the detech 7" ultimate coil for the whites v3i, if anyone has feedback or support on it, I'd like to hear what you got to say. Thanks.

I'm guessing not...I checked with a local shop and they sell a Detech 6 x 8 for a Whites DFX, MXT and M6 and they sell another Detech 12 x 10 coil for the Whites V3, V3i and MX5.
