Detect on a road anyone? Pic's

Finally got a few days of the right kind of weather for enjoying outdoor Idaho detecting. These pictures are of an area along the Coeur d' Alene River that has been popular with fishermen and campers for many years. It's B.L.M. land (public). and I've hunted the actual campsites several times in the past but have experienced the hot spots are usually where the vehicles park. Thought I'd try a little different approach this time and worked up and down the actual road from my parking spot. Was pleasantly surprised to dig over 60 coins in the area shown in the pictures. 2- Wheats 58d and 41s others from mostly 60's and 70's. Nothing awesome but easy diggin' and maybe you know of a road in your area. Enjoy your summer you all.

Hi Silverswede,

I grew up in Spokane and traveled many time to Missoula MT. Used to go to the Unlimited Hydro Plane races and sit on Tubbs Hill and watch. Early 60's. Great finds. This keys me to search the Alleys in my own neighborhood. I'll do that this weekend. Terriffic finds and beautiful view of the area.

Is that gold in the bottom left of that pan?!?!

Sure wish it was, Ray but in the sites I hunt there are a lot of old and new campfire spots that are littered with aluminum "Budnuggets". this one was different why I saved it. It appears to be from a melted cast aluminum cooking pot and just looked pretty.
