Hello Tranegar36!

Most of those are 1960s or later but the one dark one with the white band is a Peltier marble. I can't tell from the pictures, but if you shine a light through it, is it red glass? If so, It's a ruby slipper and worth a few bucks.

Thanks cheese! I really appreciate it :occasion14:

But if it is a green base glass;does that make it a 7-up?

Looking again, I see the red band on it, so it's not red base glass or I highly doubt it. That means it's a rinbo or if the base glass is the right color green it could be a 7-up but the base looks too dark. I'm betting it's olive green or brown.

Thanks again guys. I check the marble section frequently... I'm amazed by your guys' wealth of knowledge!

It's quite a thrill pulling them out of the dirt. I have them all at my parents house so I'm unable to shine a light thru it until next weekend. Told my dad to keep an eye out at garage sales for any cheap marbles. He said he had 100s of them from his early detecting days, but my mom apparently tossed them all :BangHead:

Hope all is well & HH
