Devils Nest is in a track of woodlands and rough meadow along the
Missouri River, about five miles North of Linky, County 12, Knox Co. During
the early 1800s and untel after the Civil War, this was a favorite hideout for
outlaws and , who are alleged to have concealed a great deal of booty
here, Many caves show signs of having been occupied.
