Dfx coils?

Can someone eplain to me why the coils for the xlt will not work with the dfx?

The frequency of the XLT and the DFX are not the same! The XLT is a 15 Khz machine and the DFX is a 3 and 15 KHZ machine. It is like trying to put a starter from a Ford on a Chevy.
