Diamond in the rough...

Been 10 days since my last hunt.. was not going to miss out this morning. Went back to the soccer complex that just keeps producing. this time played around the trash cans. I have avoided this area for a long time as pinpointing was next to impossible. Started today at first light on the edge of the trash field and gradually worked my way in the 15feet to the trash can. I was about half done when the heat and humidity got to be too much. That was at 7:30 am....

Someone is in big trouble me thinks, loosing their engagement ring..
18K gold and I assume the diamond is real. No idea how much its worth but that's a moot point as it has mysteriously found its way onto my wife's finger...

I would have it appraised now that it is your's...well, her's...for insurance purposes. It may be a very high grade stone.

For being 18K the diamond would be real. I oly know of them putting man made diamonds in 10K. I know wha tyou mean about the wife claiming it. My wife has claimed about 6 of the ones that I have found over the years.....Matt

You have to feel sorry for the woman who lost that lovely ring, dontcha think?
