Last Jan. I posted something about this. Never had any prof I dug it in the way of digging photos. Old Surf would chap me about digging privies. Well I found the pics and here are a few. It was a 6' brick around privy and 20' deep. 403.webp

Which state was this in? Always looking for people to dig with here in nyc or the surrounding states...
 

Now that's a hole lol. How long did it take you dig that out . And it's nice to hear a mention of surf.

Took us about 6 days.
 

The first 10' was normal digging till we hit 4' of bricks and huge rocks weighing excess of 200 lbs. Others would gave up, not me. I pulled out the sledge hammer and broke apart the material into manageable pieces. I figure it was the founditaion of this building they collapsed down into the hole. Anyway all of a sudden dishes, bottles, shoes, rellics from 1890s s.. The mass of the contententens dated to 1870's.
