Did I find a error half????

I found what i believe to be a 1991 p Kennedy half dollar. on the front the liberty, date and the (in) and the letters (st) in trust are very weak. You can still see good detail in the head and hair of kennedy and the back shows some common wear but does not look like the front. Was there any errors that had weak stamps at the mint Or is this probably just wear?

It could be a weakly struck coin but it could also be a greased-filled die which causes parts of the coin's image to appear unstruck. Would love a pic!

I have seen a couple that match your description. Immy is right about the grease thing. I have one that is a well struck coin but all the words on the front are VERY weak. I may try to ebay it as an error.
