Hi, I've been watching postings on eBay lately and passed up on 6 40% halves for $25. With the current silver price at $33.94 that is $30 worth of silver for $25. But where would i be able to actually get spot value for 40% coins?

It just depends on your outlook on the future price of silver. If you think the price of silver is going up, then you missed out on an opportunity to add to your stash at a decent price.
