Stopped by a bank j hadn't been to in a few months. The manager there said I could buy bags off their coin machine, but I'm pretty sure one of the tellers is a sniper, as I didn't find silver the one time I was sure I would (she held a bag for me from which I had seen a Walking Liberty).
Anyway, I had to do some business there today, and the manager helped me at the tellers window. I asked if they had any bags available, thinking of getting a nickel, dime, or quarter bag for the holiday weekend. She came out with 2 half bags. I went ahead and bought one - only had $500 on me, and didn't ask for other denominations since she went to the trouble of bringing them out.
Got in the car and took a quick look at the bag - silver in view! Somehow waited until I got home before opening it, and poured it out over the carpet. Clink, clink, clink! Ended up pulling 15 40% silver from the bag!
I'll be back there first thing Tuesday morning for the other bag, cookies in hand!
