Diferent coil on Dual Field ?

I know two people who sold their Dual fields because they could not handle swinging the 12 inch coil. Does someone know anyone who put a smaller coil on these machines? I myself could not swing the sunray s-12 on the Sov,,and pin-pointing was a disaster. I would prefer a 10 inch coil. Thanks

Suggestion for dual field loop weight

I solved that problem by getting a carbon fiber straight shaft. It put the electronics behind the cuff and made for great balance. The weight is still there but being balanced I can go for hours where before my wrist and arm would give out after an hour. Also, the straight shaft has a 90 degree handle which makes it nice on the wrist. I had carpal tunnel surgery and the new grip angle is great!

That said, not sure the dual field is as good as my much lighter Surf PI with mr Bills mods.
