Found this last Saturday. I was wondering if it was some sort of leather adornment. It seems to have had an appendage at each corner and a Back that would suggest it was on something flat. Thank for looking.

I found one at a Spanish American war camp a few years back. It's part of a sweetheart bracelet from what I have been told.
