DIFFERENT LINCOLN CENTS-DO YOU HAVE ANY LIKE THESE?

[Pennyworth]

A few weeks ago I was in a local shop looking for tokens and elongated coins and I found these interesting Lincoln cents in the bottom of a container. I'm sure they aren't worth anything,but I thought they were fairly unusual. They are similar to the Lincoln-Kennedy cents.

One has "Four Score And" engraved

Three have different states engraved: AK, WI, WA?

I am unable to make out what the other one is except that it has "July 20" engraved on a 1969 cent. I believe it represents man's first walk on the moon.

Also, does anyone have any cents similar to these with different images engraved and are they common? I've never seen these before only the Lincoln cent with Kennedy engraved on it.

The last one looks like the lunar lander on the moon's surface with Earth above and behind it. That's some of the most intricate artwork I've seen on a novelty coin!

Thank you for sharing that Pennyworth I have never seen any pennies with carvings yet. That's pretty cool though. I guess one cannot let Uncle Sam catch a person doing it though.

They are Machine stamped and Completly Legal.

You can even spend them yet.

I found a Lincoln cent with the state of Nevada engraved on it one time. This find took me back to my childhood (early to mid 70's). It made me remember a friends mom that had a complete set of these cents hanging on the hallway wall. There was one for every state. Neat find!!! I wish I still had mine.

Back in the 70s I got a penny that had Lincoln smoking a pipe with a couple of smoke rings floating above it...

My grandpa had a set of all 50 states in a display frame. I will have to get a pic of it next time I am at my grandmas house.
