I went out to the woods at 7:30am, right after getting out of my night job. I stayed for 6 hours. Whenever I go hunting I always keep my eyes peeled for old bottles. Well today I spied a couple of old ones. I finally found an old thick greenish Coke bottle that was intact. I also found an old embossed bottle. It says "HORLICK'S MALTED MILK LUNCH TABLETS". So that was 2 firsts for me!!!
I also found 4 Wheat's, the oldest one is a 1913. So this is now my oldest Wheat Cent that I found to date. My previous oldest wheat cent was a 1918s that I found in the same woods. I can't wait to break into the Indian Head Cents!!!
I also found some more shotgun shells, and a pistol caseing and 2 pistol slugs (bullets).
Another first for me, I found 3 lipsticks, 2 complete with dried up remnants of lipstick still inside, and 1 cap. I also found a gold or gold plated pendant. It turned out to be a "Brotherhood of Railroads Trainsmen" pendant. If anybody has an approximate date on it, I would appreciate it.
1913, 1941, 1944, 1950 wheats
