Got out today for 3 hours and detected around a old dilapidated house. A large copper butterfly, a mickey mouse badge, $1.23 in clad, a lead fishing weight and an object that seems to be brass. It says Leno and has a patent number. Looked the patent number up on the Internet and it is a Dobro Capo. Used to hold the strings down on a guitar. And as usual dug handfuls of pull tabs, can slaw and foil searching for the elusive gold. Enjoyed the nice Carolina weather.

For some reason I don't see the pictures on my post does anybody else see them?

I see them...good digs

I see them said the blind man as he picked up the hammer and saw. good finds

It was a good day. Carolina is my birth home.....A sunny day in Winston Salem is worth a week in well........nevermind .....Don't wanna upset anyone.

Mickey Mouse is a watch fob. You heard that here first. That little slot is the give away... right. Congrats on the finds.

Nice finds. Butterfly is interesting.

nice digs matt

I'm wondering what the butterfly was - maybe a template of some kind (for embossing cards or something ) doesn't seem ornate
or dimensional enough to have been a brooch, or a jewelry piece - hmmm ...

Great finds. I reside in Carolina too. I am in the eastern section.
