Got out today for 3 hours and detected around a old dilapidated house. A large copper butterfly, a mickey mouse badge, $1.23 in clad, a lead fishing weight and an object that seems to be brass. It says Leno and has a patent number. Looked the patent number up on the Internet and it is a Dobro Capo. Used to hold the strings down on a guitar. And as usual dug handfuls of pull tabs, can slaw and foil searching for the elusive gold. Enjoyed the nice Carolina weather.

I'm wondering what the butterfly was - maybe a template of some kind (for embossing cards or something ) doesn't seem ornate
or dimensional enough to have been a brooch, or a jewelry piece - hmmm ...
