Good luck with that ! I made the mistake of buying a digger from Lowes called " digger buddy" I think , it was awful - handle was terribly uncomfortable . Lesche is very good !..

I had bought one from Lowes several years ago that I still use, but it is worn down so I bought this one to try. I use a Lesche 30" when I am in the fields I hunt. But, I also hunt some places where that would be frowned upon. That's why I picked this one up. And, as I mentioned this tool has a lifetime warranty.

Lifetime warranty is not worth anything when it ruins your detecting weekend at 8:00 Saturday morning. And made in China is worthless.

It looks sturdy.... but those ends look like silver scratchers. Lots of sharp edges to turn a priceless find into one for the melt pile...dig with caution and good luck!

Looks like the perfect tool for cutting small plugs in your sandy soil. The wide tip makes it much easier to lift the dirt out of the hole, too.

I never go hunting without a back up digging tool or, for that matter, a back up detector.

I used this tool the other day planting bulbs in the garden. It cut into the ground easily and severed small roots without me even noticing. I intentionally found a larger root, about thumb size, and the cutter sawed right through it. I am not saying this is the best digging tool on the market but, for $12.95 it makes a good choice as a back up or first line use tool.

Don't believe the lifetime warranty from Lowes, I bought one of their rakes, snapped the handle in half and tried to return it, "DENIED" at customer service, "we don't do that any more."
