I was curious if anyone has ever found anything older than a Merc while searching dimes?

I know someone found a barber a few months ago. It took them like over 2,000,000 dimes or something I think. Don't remember who.

Wow I would love that. My best score of old ones was 5 mercs in one clear wrapped box.

I have found a 1914 Canadian dime. Was a 925er. Almost like a Barber :P I cant seem to get my Garda banks to order me dimes anymore.

Many Barbers have been found and posted on this forum. Even a few Seated Liberties.

I've found a half dozen Barbers, and a 1900 Canadian Victoria.

Here's a picture taken through the lens of a 10X lighted loupe of my oldest dime found from a roll.

Awesome dime. Was it CW or MW?

I've found 1858 and 1877 CC seated dimes.

Very nice! CW or Machine?

Machine, I've never even heard of a CWR around here. Policy is to have everything dumped into the machine and the sheep follow.

On a side note, I've gone through several hundred boxes of dimes, I have not even counted. But I go through 5 a week at a minimum, and I've only found those.

I found an 1868 nickel composition trime a few weeks ago in a dime bag. Pretty banged up but cool.

I got two barbers in one box, but that's all. I do 2 boxes a week
