Coins with less than a 10% off center strike are worth only face value! Even some that are 10 to 15% off center, have very little if any value over face value but older coins can and will fetch a premium. I generally use a rule of thumb, that if it is fairly modern and not at least 20% off center, then spend it or set it aside in case they have some value in the future!

I agree with 'huntsman53' and would add that if it were 20% off center I'd value it at about $5-$10.
