DIMES!! WOW

Stopped at small bank the yesterday day....which was a satellite bank and asked for 100 in dimes. They only had 50 so I took em. Glad I did. Found my first Merc!!! 1935 in very good condition. Also pulled 11 Rosies! Pretty good numbers for hitting 10 CRWs i'd say! My best dime roll had 5, including the Merc! I had ran about 150 in dimes earlier in the day and only hit 1 Rosie. So 13 for the day. I forgot to grab the single so I only have the 12 pictured. 1935, 46, 47x3, 48, 50, 53x3, 63x2, and a 64

And on a crazier note....I got my dad into CRHing recently and he stopped by a bank this morning and asked for some halves. Teller said she had some and then told him that some guy just brought in some big dollar coins....He obviously said that he would take em all. He ended up with 21 ikes...One 1971 S 40% - Pretty good day! I am jealous!!!

Good score on such a small pick-up amount, too bad they didn't have the whole 100 you asked for. Always a nice rush finding multiple dimes in a roll, the most I have ever found was three.

I try to get dimes and nickels every time I get a box of halves to keep from getting completely skunked. I had ordered a box of halves and dimes over the phone at a regular pickup bank and when I went there today the Teller told me that the Vault Teller had ordered 2 boxes of dimes for me, so I told her I would take them both. Glad I did. The halves were a skunk but I pulled 9 dimes altogether from the two boxes, 4-64's, 59, 2-57's, 47, and a 46. Normally I only edge check dimes but I am going to sound test these rolls before I re-wrap them because a few of the silvers were hard to spot.
