Dinosaur fingers?

Today I found some fossils on a rock : a sea shell an what looks like a finger of a dinosaur. ,

Horn coral?

Coral? I don't think so. It ends with a nail, besides, the find is tens of miles away from the sea.

ok... so how did the sea shell get there? Wherever you found it was likely a sea millions of years ago.

Very likely not a vertebrae fossil. It is a continuous mass with no bone structure.

The color and striations remind me of petrified wood. Silicified coral is another possibility.

Right. It should be that, otherwise how could a sea shell and a dinosaur remains meet on a single rock!
