Dint wanna get my hopes up but found in wet sand. Anyone jnow old coins?

It was fairly shiny when dug in wet sand. It has a lityle salt crust build up but I cannot tell what tbe heck it is. Im in St Augistin,Fl.

It looks like the plating is coming off revealing the pot metal/ pewter underneath.
If that's the case, is just a copy.

die cast copy, and a bad one at that. in the fist pic, you can tell it's fake by the casting seam around the edge
