I think I found a new DDO. It's a 1972 (P) Kennedy half dollar. There is a known DDO for this year, but my example has much more obvious doubling over all the lettering of the obverse. I hope I have something rare and valuable. Your thoughts / insights would be appreciated. Anyone else ever found one of these?
Thanks!

It appears to be so. Your pics, however, are such poor quality that it would be difficult to determine, from the images alone, if it is machine doubling (sometimes referred to as impact doubling or strike doubling) or a doubled die.

I suggest two things. Take this coin to a qualified individual for evaluation. Learn to take better images.

Some images look like they could be double die; others look like they could be machine doubling. Need better pics, for sure.

I agree! It has the appearance of Flat Bed "Machine" Doubling but at the same time, some letters and digits appear to have Split Serifs. I believe that better in-focus, closeup and straight on (not at angles) pics of all of the letters and digits as well as Kennedy's bust are needed to made a definitive assessment of the doubling on the coin.
