Found this in a field behind where an old house once was. Magnet wont stick too it, and to lite for aluminum. Lead?
Looks to me lake a roll up drain cleaning snake, without the snake. what do you think?

You mean too heavy for aluminum, right? Perhaps brass, but it's hard to tell with the caked on dirt. It strikes me as the type of item which would have a part number or other info cast into it, which might be revealed with further cleaning.

After I cleaned it for a while. On the back side it does look like it has a greenish color to it at one place and its flat on one side. the other side looks like it has a lip around the edge. I don't know anything about tractor motors, just wondering if it could be something like a harmonic balancer?

Showed pics to a older gentleman I work with, and he thinks there is another piece just like it that joins together. He thinks it's either an old inside of a wagon wheel, or a crank type of thing to pull a bucket of water from a well. Oh well
