Didn't look like much at first, flat on the back for the most part, and on the front, a just barely visible eagle.

That's amazing! When I first got it I laughed, said "yes! The worlds largest coin!" Out it in my bag and kept searching. The side that the eagle is on just looked like the typical metal on beach corrosion until I caught it in the light a few days later. Goes to show, if you don't know, don't throw it out!
