Dizzy Dean bat&ball pin ?

i was out this morning with my Fisher CZ-6a and found this about 6" deep.
All it says is Dizzy Dean Winners about 2" long...cant see a place for the pin to go on the back.
I know baseball stuff is very collectable and i think i`v heard of this guy anybody know ??

It's from 1935.
