Do you seal the joints in your sluice?

I've tried weather stripping . Holding slices together wwith nuts an bolts or c clamps bar clamps and or vicegrips. Best sealing i,'ve found is gorilla tape workers if applied before getting sluce sections wet thankyou for your thoughts
