I found this shell on the beach of an Indian Fishing Village site that is known to have been very active for thousands of years. I am sure that its probable a natural worn shell but man.... you have to admit.... it kind of looks like a cow, sheep, buffalo or some other animal. P.S. I realize that there were no buffalo in my area hahaha.

Thanks Carolina. Your right. There is no way I could not have kept it. I looked at both sides and saw the same thing. I know its most likely not Indian made but it was in a camp so..... there is always a slight possibility............ I guess hahah. Its fun to imagine.

I collect shell artifacts and I can tell you this is a natural shape. Not man made. Sorry.

Looks more bison than bovine. Come on y'all, y'all can't see it? :D

 RR

EBAY looks like a nice place for this. ::)

No votes for the Indian subcontinent? Kinda looks like India off the bottom. Thinking it was maybe a map for the first Indians, then the map guy lost it and they couldn't get back so...
Nope, might just be the Mr. Pibb....

I pretty much thought so but wanted to be sure just in case. Thank you for verifying it for me. I really do appreciate it.
